Batumi is a magnificent seaside resort with incredible pebble beaches and stunning urban architecture.

Among the endless plantations of citrus orchards, magnolias, bamboo, bananas, laurel trees and majestic eucalyptus, on the coast of the Black Sea there is a beautiful resort city of Batumi.

Today Batumi is the most important cultural, economic and tourist center of Georgia.

The tourist infrastructure in the city is developing rapidly —  along with numerous restaurants and cafes there is a dolphinarium, a water park, a large amusement park, singing fountains and much more.

In the central part of the city there are many cafes and galleries, souvenir shops and sightseeing places. It is especially nice to walk here in the evenings, when the day heat subsides and the illumination is switched on.

On the central part of the old Batumi seaside boulevard one can find various attractions and entertainment, painters and tattoo artists work here, folklore festivals are held.

Along the entire coast of the city center, there is a wide pebble beach and a pedestrian promenade where it is so pleasant to walk, cycle or run in the morning.

The New Boulevard, which recently has been actively built up with skyscrapers and large hotels, is buzzing with life. Here there is a whole area of restaurants and cafes, which offer unusual variations of Georgian, Ukrainian, Turkish and European cuisine to the guests of the city. And, of course, one of the most famous sights of Batumi resort are the singing (dancing) fountains. Every night from eight p.m. to one a.m. huge crowds of tourists and resort guests gather here to watch the enchanting light and music performance.
